Abstract

The availability of outcrops to study reservoir-scale geobodies is key for a successful exploration<br>and exploitation of subsurface hydrocarbon accumulations. The increased development of giant<br>gas fields in the Permian Khuff Formation in the Persian Gulf calls for more geological work in<br>such outcrop equivalents.
