Abstract

What level of geological detail is required to give a meaningful representation of a reservoir model? Is it worthwhile to spend
the time, money and effort to assemble a high-resolution geological model or will simpler models suffice? How coarse can a
model be to provide the fastest possible execution while simultaneously preserving enough geological detail for realistic
performance predictions?
