In 2002 Kuwait Oil Company (KOC) embarked on a project to improve the decision making process among the various<br>groups in KOC by centralizing all geospatial information and integrating E&P data using Geographic Information System<br>(GIS).By pioneering in the employment of appropriate GIS technologies amongst oil sectors companies in Kuwait, KOC<br>anticipated to effectively manage E&P data and use this data to better understand and plan their critical business processes.<br>Today, these workflows have enhanced workflow processes, effectively in the KOC Drilling Operations Group.
