Abstract

A geophysical investigation and land survey of a ten acre cemetery in central Arizona was performed to determine the location of existing burials, provide underground imaging of each plot, and map the complete cemetery according to section, block, lot, and burial plots. This information will help cemetery officials develop a comprehensive plan for future burials. Subsurface imaging incorporating multi-channel ground penetrating radar and multiple sensor electromagnetic technologies were employed simultaneously at the cemetery.
