Localização de Manilhas de Concreto Instaladas no Sítio Controlado de Geofísica Rasa do IAG-USP Através de Multi-Configurações das Antenas GPR: Resultados Preliminares

This article shows the preliminary results of multi-configurations GPR antennas in order to locate concrete tubes installed in the Shallow Geophysical Test Site or Sítio Controlado de Geofísica Rasa-SCGR of IAG/USP. Four arrays of antennas were used: TE mode (Transversal Electric), TM mode (Transversal Magnetic), and the TE and TM Cross-Polarizations, according to definitions of Radzevicius & Daniels (2000). The results showed that the TE mode was excellent to detect concrete tubes that presented clear reflections, followed by TM mode.
