Abstract

This research shows some results obtained with Inductive Electromagnetic (EM38 equipment), and GPR-Ground Penetrating Radar methods applied for detect steel pipes buried at test site of the IAG/USP. Steel pipes until 1.5 meters deep were detected by Inductive Electromagnetic method. 200MHz GPR profiles permit to detect the steel pipes and the depth slices were important for characterize the pipes extension. The results obtained by two different geophysical methods present good agreement, and can be used to mapping interferences buried in subsoil.
