The Modeling of Thermal Drive by Horizontal Wells

Abstract
Results of the analysis hot water injection on the one of areas of reservoir indicate its low efficiency through system of vertical wells. Geologic-hydrodynamic modeling has shown the following. In hydrodynamic conditions of an area application of horizontal well for steam injection in a constant mode senselessly as, practically, all of steam leaves in earlier warmed-up watered intervals. In alternative to a traditional variant lateral oil displacement by steam drive by vertical wells initialization of vertical oil displacement by steam drive by "doublet" of horizontal wells allows to raise reservoir recovery essentially. The steam cyclic treatments of horizontal wells in conditions of water encroachment of pay horizon and practical absence in production of the wells of oil before process “Huff and Puff” will allow to increase them oil production rates in some times.
