Abstract

Analysis of magnetotelluric and other abyssal geologic-geophysical data allowed substantiating subsurface geoelectric model and corresponding to it conditions in the Earth's crust and upper mantle of Archangelsk diamondiferous province. Litospheric and mantle (asthenosphere) conducting layers are the main elements of this model. Localized geoelectrical mhomogeneities are observed above lithospheric conductive layer. They may be the consequence of spatial redistribution beyond the limits of the layer processes of free fluids and separation of dissolved in them electron-conductive minerals. These inhomogeneities form conjugated systems spatially linked with regions, fields and clusters of kimberlitic magmatism.<br>
