Abstract

At present refracted waves processing is mainly restricted to arrival times analysis. Dynamic parameters of refracted waves are only used for the wave identification and separation. The original method of refracted and diving waves migration based on Kirchoff algorithm is proposed here. As a result, dynamic cross-section of refracted interfaces similar to standard CMP cross-section is derived. The joint processing of refracted and reflected data allow to obtaining more reliable results that should improve the accuracy of structure constructions and the prediction of geological models.
