Abstract
When trying to find a solution to any scientific problem a researcher first attempts to source and analyse information about the results of recent studies. A geological cross section is created employing the data, obtained from various reliable sources, and also using a scientist’s subjective assumptions with regard to the structure being surveyed. This subjectivism is the reason why further research is rarely based on the data acquired through previous cross section studies. Consequently, the studies become ineffective, due to the fact that, when doing a new research, different scientists have to gather the initial structural information for their model constructions anew in all cases. This investigation has been undertaken in order to make it possible for researchers to exchange reliable information about geological structure shown in a geological profile.
