Abstract

The interpretation of DC resistivity measurements can often be<br>greatly enhanced if accurate three-dimensional modelling software<br>were available. Numerical codes that can handle an arbitrary<br>resistivity distribution in a half-space spend most of the execution<br>time in solving the large number of equations. The multigrid<br>method was implemented and first results appear promising in<br>speeding up a usually time consuming numerical process.
