Sikaiti (PDO) SUMMARY This paper deals with a development strategy to achieve world class recovery factors in a giant oil field in Southern Oman. A comprehensive field development plan urban plan and a risk based decision and assurance frame work has been designed to move from conventional recovery to improved recovery by water flood from water flood to polymer flood and from polymer flood to Alkaline Surfactant Polymer flood. The approach allows for early implementation of the development in a brown field environment
