Enhancing Circular Features in Potential Field Data using a Generalised Radial Derivative Filter

Abstract
The enhancement of potential field anomalies over Kimberlite pipes and meteorite impact sites is of considerable interest, and much work has been done on this subject. This abstract suggests a modification to the generalised derivative to make it act in a radial manner, thus making it useful for the enhancement of near circular features. The filter is applied to gravity data from South Africa.
