Abstract

Exploration play models are employed by mineral and hydrocarbon exploration companies to establish and help explain the geological setting of their targeted resource. These models vary from salt domes to structural fault blocks, from igneous intrusives such as dykes and sills to kimberlite pipes. Such geological models are based on geological observations that are enhanced through the usage of geophysical data.
