Basokur Ankara University Turkey The purpose of the inversion algorithms is to derive the subsurface distribution of a certain type physical parameter that causes the variation of applied geophysical fields. The inversion of geophysical data is carried out by updating an initial guess supplied by the interpreter in an iterative manner.
