Verificação da Viabilidade do Método Gpr Para o Mapeamento de Camadas de Goethita

The aim of this work was to verify the possibility of GPR application in Goethite layers mapping. Three GPR profiles were carried out using the 80 MHz and 200 MHz antennas. The measurements were taken in a farm located in Xambioa-TO. The results allowed the mapping of a Goethite layer giving information on the thickness and depth of the mineralization, which are important parameters for its exploitation.
