oa Terrestrial LiDAR Survey in Support of Geological Interpretation

Light Detection and Ranging is a well-known technique used by engineers and geoscientist for imaging of facilities and infrastructure. Petroleum Development Oman (PDO) Geomatics department has explored this technology as a tool to map the fascade of a mountain in a quite challenging terrain area to support geological modelling and studies.
