A039 UPDATING VERTICAL GAS FLOW MODELS IN LAMINATED RESERVOIRS Summary 1 One of the most challenging fields in reservoir engineering is efficient integration of all available data for reservoir characterization and to keep the resulting model updated as new data becomes available. Usually 4D seismic data are quantitatively integrated in the reservoir characterization through history matching. We propose an efficient updating technique that requires no flow simulation.
