C044 RESOLVING AMBIGUITY IN FRACTURE INDUCED ANISOTROPY INTERPRETED FROM VARIOUS DATA Summary 1 A comprehensive study of well-log data multi-component VSP data 2D and 3D surface seismic data has been conducted in order to characterize fractures in a clean sand reservoir in the Exmouth Sub-basin offshore North West Shelf Western Australia. Information about fracture density and fracture conductivity is of particular importance for the future injection and production strategy at this site. Careful analysis of high-quality dipolesonic logs showed significant shear wave splitting over the reservoir interval. The shear wave anisotropy was computed to be around 10-15%. This is commonly
