F018 SEISMOELECTRIC EFFECT METHOD ON NEAR SURFACE KIMBERLITES Abstract 1 Seismoelectric effect (SE) laboratory and field experiments were carried out on kimberlites rocks. SE values are shown in a laboratory to distinguish productive kimberlites from not productive ones and from surrounding rocks in a wide sample range of many Yakutiya occurrences. In a field SE method was applied on Aikhal geological occurrence to benchmark shallow subsurface kimberlites and sedimentary rocks (dolomites) covered by extremely dense basalt traps.
