F018 SEISMOELECTRIC EFFECT METHOD ON NEAR SURFACE KIMBERLITES Abstract 1 Seismoelectric effect (SE) laboratory and field experiments were carried out on kimberlites rocks. SE values are shown in a laboratory to distinguish productive kimberlites from not productive ones and from surrounding rocks in a wide sample range of many Yakutiya occurrences. In a field SE method was applied on Aikhal geological occurrence to benchmark shallow subsurface kimberlites and sedimentary rocks (dolomites) covered by extremely dense basalt traps. Powerful blows of large cart hammer or repeated powerful impulses of magnetostrictive installation were used as a source of seismic waves. Main frequency
