Abstract
F024 3-D ANISOTROPIC INVERSION OF RESISTIVITY TOMOGRAPHY DATA IN THE ABANDONED MINE AREA Abstract 1 We have developed an inversion code for three-dimensional (3-D) resistivity tomography including the anisotropy effect. The algorithm is based on the finite element approximations for the forward modeling and ACB (Active Constraint Balancing) method is adopted to enhance the resolving power of the smoothness constraint least-squares inversion. This algorithm was applied to the field data set acquired in the abandoned old mine area where high-rise apartment has been built up over the mining tunnel. The subsurface structure beneath the apartment should be investigated in detail
