Abstract
P021 ANALYSIS OF P-WAVE AND CONVERTED- WAVE SEISMIC DATA ANADARKO BASIN OKLAHOMA USA. Abstract 1 Multicomponent 3-D seismic data were acquired in the Anadarko Basin USA. Acquisition involved simultaneously recording a co-located spread of single 3-C digital sensors with a conventional spread of 1-C geophones. The conventional recording spread utilized six geophone elements per station deployed in a linear array. The multicomponent recording spread used a single 3C digital sensor per station. P-S converted-wave data were recorded from reflectors exceeding 4115m in depth. The conventional P-wave image is similar to the converted-wave image but differing reflectivity indicates there is additional
