Abstract
P112 DISTRIBUTIONS OF NATURAL AND ARTIFICIAL GAMMA BACKGROUND RADIATION IN HUNGARY Summary 1 Gamma radiation spectra have been measured in more than 250 points across Hungary to determine the distribution of gamma radiation background. The survey was limited to the three natural components of gamma radiation U Th series and K-40 and the caesium-137 which is an isotope derived from the Chernobyl accident. The collected abundant data make it possible to survey the distribution and migration of different radionuclides. The pattern of the distribution of Cs-137 is similar as in 1986 the year of fall down. However relief soil hydrology
