Abstract
P113 INTERPRETATION OF BOREHOLE RADAR DATA FROM LEPPÄVIRTA FINLAND: IMPLICATIONS TO STRUCTURE GEOMETRY Summary 1 Borehole radar reflection data from two adjacent communal water supply wells with different yield in Leppävirta Finland were analyzed to calculate angles of reflectors and depths of intersection for assessing the information extractable by the method on fracturing in the rock mass. Some individual reflectors can be traced as far as 33 m from the borehole. The separate interpretations for the near-field domain (distance <5 m) and for the far-field domain (dipole field distance >5 m) revealed structures with different orientation. The near-field domain has
