Abstract

P145 THE USE OF HILBERT TRANSFORMS FOR INTERPRETATION OF GPR DATA OF RAILWAY TRACKS AND ROADS SURVEY Introduction 1 The GPR method is widely used for continuous measuring the thickness of road structural layers. For having a more complete characteristic of road serviceability it is necessary to solve the following problems: - to evaluate homogeneity of road substructure and subgrade; - to define changes of the filtration coefficient and soil dampness; - to detect in proper time defective areas and cavities in the subgrade. Evaluation of integral changes of these characteristics is possible by means Hilbert transforms of GPR data.
