P154 GEOPHYSICAL SURVEY AT AN ARCHAEOLOGICAL KARSTIC CAVE NEAR PARABITA (LECCE ITALY) Abstract Summary 1 A geophysical survey using GPR (GSSI Sir System2) Electrical Resistivity Tomography (IRIS Syscal-R1 with 48 electrodes - dipole-dipole array) and multi-frequency EM induction (GSSI GEM300) has been carried out near Parabita (Lecce Italy) at the archaeological site “Grotta delle Veneri” where in 1966 paleolitic human remains and the small statues of pregnant women called “Veneri” have been recovered inside a shallow karstic cave developed in an outcropping limestone formation.
