Abstract

P157 CONE PENETRATION TESTS FOR INVESTIGATION OF HETEROGENEITY IN AN AQUIFER AT KRAUTHAUSEN Abstract 1 The intensive growth of industrial and agricultural activity of the population causes increase of polluted areas. In order to follow the spread of near-surface contamination it is essential to be familiar with the hydrogeological parameters of the investigated earth. The cone penetration technology is capable resolving the structure of the test field in detail and logs the electric conductivity density and water content during soil penetration. Cone penetration tests (CPTe) were performed at the test site Krauthausen to investigate the aquifer's heterogeneity in detail. Several
