Abstract

Recent compilatians of geothermal and seismic data have been used in studying the nature of intraplate seismicity in two regions in Brazil: the northeastem region canprising the states of Ceara, Rio Grande do Norte, Paraiba, Pernambuco, Sergipe, Alagoas ,and northern Bahia and the southern region restricted to the state of Sao Paulo.
