Abstract

Novas tecnologias de exploraçăo de petróleo voltam-se ao estudo detalhado de reservatórios e ŕ procura de indicadores diretos de hidrocarbonetos. (DHIs). As relaçőes de Gassmann e de Biot-Geerstsma săo usualmente utilizadas buscando uma melhor compreensăo de fenômenos como bright-spots, crescimento de amplitudes com o offset e reflexőes de contato de fluidos, entre outros.
