Abstract

There is a lot of papers devoted to ray reflection tomograpby. In the most of them linear algebraic problems connected with the solution of big systems of linear equations are under considerations. Only in a few of them authors are discussing the connection between tomographic approach and classical travel-time inversion. This paper is an attempt to include the reflection ray tomography into the framework of general development of the kinematical interpretation during last two decades and to trace bow peculiarities of the continual inverse problem influence on tomographic solutions.
