Abstract
The Uley Basin is the largest source of potable groundwater for the Eyre Peninsula, South Australia. Groundwater resource allocation from the Basin is regulated by the state government’s Department for Water; and water supply to the public and industry, through groundwater extraction, is the responsibility of SA Water—a water utility owned by the Government of South Australia. Increased demand for potable water in the Eyre Peninsula has both entities interested in increasing their hydrogeological knowledge and understanding in the region.
