Abstract

The Geothermal Development Company (GDC) of Kenya and the German Federal Institute for Geosciences and Natural Resources (BGR) cooperated on the project "High Resolution Thermal Infrared Remote Sensing for Geothermal Site Characterization at Silali, Northern Kenya Rift" in 2011 and 2012. This project is part of the GEOTHERM Programme "Promoting the utilization of geothermal energy in developing countries", financed by the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ).
