Abstract
In 1980, Weyant in Fontaine et al. mentioned Spathognathodus inclinatus for the lower part of the section (Dadas I). Together with other fossilgroups they classified this part into the Lower Budnanian substage of the Bohemian classification (Upper Wenlockian to Upper Ludlowian). But still the correct paleostratigraphic position of the Silurian-Devonian boundary in the Hazro area of SE-Anatolia is unclear. This paper provides a summary of paleontological findings concerning brachiopods, conodonts, ostracods and palynomorphs for this area.
