Application of VSP both in prospect and exploitation drilling: the results and the problems

Provision of reliability of VSP data geological interpretation at large distances of a source is clashed with a<br>series of the problems. On a base of the experience by means of drilling test, the main factors were distinguished<br>which can decrease the accuracy and the reliability of VSP results. The ways of taking into account<br>of these factors were indicated. The examples of VSP application were presented to increase the effectiveness<br>of prospect and exploitation drilling.
