Abstract

The inverse problems of gravity prospecting for media models adequate to modern urgent tasks of oil
and gas prospecting works are reviewed. The compensation of equivalence effects is carried out by their
inclusion into a more common scheme of integrated interpretation. It is achieved by attraction of the
additional information about the structure of a model in the form of an optimality criterion having additive,
multiplicative and dynamic components. Three basic forms of stating the problem of complex media objects
density model restoration are distinguished accordingly: passive, active and geodynamic. The integral and
differential presentations of optimal decisions are deduced and the iterative processes of their solution are
designed. The developed methods are technologically realized as a software-methodical complex. The
questions of its further development for the solution of the problem of integrated interpretation in discrete
simulation models are discussed.
