The lithosphere structure and newest geodynamic for seismic hazard estimation in the Caspian – Black Sea region

Prediction of seismicity is one of the elements of ecology hazard warning. For the Caspian - Black Sea region,<br>such prediction is an extremely important problem in connection with distribution of earthquakes on the most part of its<br>area. For elaboration of a procedure of the prediction it takes into account that 90% of earthquake hypocentres and<br>released energy of seismic waves is associated with the elastic-brittle layer of the lithosphere.
