Effectiveness of 2D&3D seismic exploration during search of oil and gas structures at above salt complex of Southern Emba”.

On Southern Emba 2D seismic investigations have played a positive role at oil exploration activities.<br>However, the efficiency of this method is low in steep slope zones of salt domes.<br>The tasks solved by seismic survey a little bit wider, that enables using it at a supplementary exploration<br>of exploited fields. The poorly amplitude structures and tectonic disturbances are stood out with 3D seismic activities,<br>the structure of productive strata with small thicknesses is studied is studied, the salt cornices are more effectively<br>mapped, etc. On concrete examples the results of application of 3D seismic survey on fields of Southern Emba are<br>shown.
