Results of using the new geophysical technologies for forecasting of oil and gas deposits

This paper shows c a complex of geological-geophysical technologies of oil and gas<br>forecasting. The complex includes 3D seismic survey with an irregular network of monitoring,<br>high-resolution electric survey including measurement of induced polarization. The complex was<br>tested in all petroliferous basins of Russia. It enables to forecast traps of various genesis, determine<br>capacity characteristics of a collector, delineates zones of oil-and-gas saturation, recommend deep<br>pioneer and exploratory well spud-in places. The use of the complex may assist in solving most<br>problems of the oil and gas exploratory and production stage during prospecting and appraisal<br>operations.
