The problems discussed concern computer technology of topographic correction evaluation in<br>gravimetry characterized by complete automation of calculation overall the region and high accuracy of<br>results. Digital models of terrain, obtained by vectorization of scanned images of topographic maps and map<br>GTOP030, are used as raw data. Computation algorithms are based on construction of analytical<br>approximation of terrain relief and topographic correction; besides discrete Fourier transform and point<br>source functions are applied. Accuracy of terrain correction evaluation is estimated with a method of<br>stochastic modeling. Examples of solution of some practical problems for Western Urals are given.
