True amplitude migration of common shot and common midpoint gather data in anisotropic media

True amplitude (TA) migration weights applicable for anisotropic media in the case of common shot and<br>common midpoint gather data are presented in this paper. The migration is viewed as a weighted diffraction<br>stack and the migration weights are written in terms of quantities computable by dynamical ray tracing. The<br>proposed weight functions can be applied for TA migration in the case of arbitrary anisotropic<br>inhomogeneous background media for processing of arbitrary type of converted waves.
