Depth migration on synthetic gathers obtained using time section traces

The technique of obtained synthetic gathers using time section traces is explained. Based on these traces, stacking velocities were calculated into interval velocities. Generating depth-velocity models for depth migration when initial seismograms are absent as well as a possibility of re-processing of synthetic gathers with the purpose of enhancing seismic record resolution are considered.
