Abstract

The characteristics of the fracture network have an important role on the development of naturally fractured reservoirs because of their control on the storage capacity and flow dynamics in the reservoir. It is essential to understand the fracture networks in respect to orientation, intensity and spatial distribution for a successful development of a naturally fractured reservoir. Southeast Anatolia, as a tectonically active region, mostly has fractured carbonate oil reservoirs that need to be analyzed in terms of above characteristics.
