f The Potential of Advanced Seismic Imaging Techniques in the Eastern Mediterranean

Shell Upstream Turkey is a 50% JV equity partner with TPAO in the Bati Toros exploration area, which comprises of three offshore Exploration Licences in the East Mediterranean, Antalya Basin with a total acreage of ~16,500 km2 in 2000-2500 meters of water depth. This deepwater basin in southern Turkey is structurally very complex and to date there is limited 3D seismic coverage. The area has significant exploration ‘white space’ as there are no offshore wells in Antalya. It is hence an uncalibrated deepwater setting with availability of various 2D seismic datasets and recent 3D seismic acquisition.
