Developing an efficient modelling and data presentation strategy for ATDEM system choice and survey design

Forward modelling of airborne time-domain electromagnetic (ATDEM) data is used to compare systems and design surveys for optimum detection of expected targets. The large amount of data generated for three dimensional models as well as the system dependent nature of data presents challenges when analysing the forward modelled results. Utilizing the dimensionless quantity of signal to noise ratios and presenting data as a three-dimensional nomo-volume is proposed as an efficient tool to evaluate modelling results.
