Abstract

We present a new generation, frequency- domain AEM system purpose designed for sea ice thickness profiling. The system includes a combination of step stones towards a potential new generation of systems using multi-frequency, multi-component, bucking-free EM in concert with various auxiliary sensors on a small and light platform.
