Abstract

F-04 DATA INTEGRATION FOR FLOW UNIT CORRELATION IN THE EKOFISK CHALK RESERVOIR Summary 1 The Ekofisk field reservoir consists of chalk of dominantly gravity flow origin separated by thin often tighter units of more pelagic origin. On a large scale the reservoir appears relatively homogeneous reflecting large-scale depositional units. However on a smaller scale which is important for reservoir characterisation the reservoir consists of a number of slides slumps and debris flows which create a rather heterogeneous three-dimensional pattern and makes correlation between wells problematic. Interpretation of the central part of the field is further hampered by lack of seismic
