Abstract
H-03 ELECTROKINETIC AND VSP MONITORING OF FLUID FLOW IN PETROLEUM RESERVOIRS Summary 1 A three dimensional reservoir model constructed from outcrop mapping of Book Cliffs Utah USA was used for computations of the electrical and seismic signals at down hole electrodes and geophones that are associated with the flow of fluids in the reservoir. The main objective was to determine how permanent arrays of downhole electrical and seismic sensors could be most effectively used to monitor fluid flow during production.
