P108 A FAST INTEGRATION TECHNIQUE FOR THE GENERATION OF RAY-BORN SYNTHETICS 1 Abstract The computation of synthetic seismograms often involves integrals over the spatial and/or take-off angle domains. Examples include ray-Born beam and beam-Born integrals. We present an integration technique to evaluate these integrals. This technique follows the work of Spencer et al. (1997) where 2D modeling results were presented. The integration is in the time domain over triangles (2D) or tetrahedra (3D). The phase and amplitude in each triangle/tetrahedron are assumed to vary linearly. The method as presented applies to 2D and 3D integrals but can be generalized to
