Abstract
P118 A SIMPLE APPROACH TO REGULARIZED GRADIENTS CALCULATION IN GRAVIMETRY AND MAGNETOMETRY R. PASTEKA and P. RICHTER Abstract 1 Calculation of higher derivatives (gradients) of potential fields is an important but quite unstable problem in applied gravimetry and magnetometry. Regularization tools can help to solve this ill-posed problem - authors used the Tikhonov's approach in the spectral domain using FFT-technique with special selected regularization filter. This procedure is relatively time-consuming but obtained results give better approximation to correct solutions. The improvement of the analytical signal for qualitative interpretation and better clustering of Euler deconvolution estimates are demonstrated on a simple
