P037 INTEGRATED RESERVOIR CHARACTERIZATION THICK-BEDDED TURBIDITES FRAM VEST FIELD NORTH SEA Introduction 1 Thick-bedded turbidite sandstones are major reservoirs throughout the world (North Sea Gulf of Mexico etc.). They have typically very good poro-perm properties and high net-to-gross values. However well logs and cores taken from such reservoirs generally show high net to gross massive sands with some interbedded shales that do not give enough information for a detailed well correlation. Furthermore in areas where the reservoir is thin (up to 40 m) 3D seismic data cannot resolve internal reservoir architecture.
